Who We Are
Spartanburg Truth is the shortened name for Spartanburg Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation (TRHT). We are a broad, multiracial network of individuals and organizations in Spartanburg, South Carolina working toward racial equity through:
building relationships, trust, empathy, and power;
learning together about structural racism and its power-political underpinnings (the what, how, and why of actions that have caused harm or loss); and
developing a local course of action, a portfolio or constellation of reparative solutions, that will transform Spartanburg into the just, future Spartanburg we envision.
